Prophets

25 Prophets are mentioned by name in the Quran, with many other prophets and messengers acknowledged as well. These 25 prophets include Adam, Idris, Nuh (Noah), Hud, Saleh, Lut (Lot), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Shu’aib, Ayyub (Job), Dhu’l-Kifl, Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ilyas (Elias), Al-Yasa (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah), Zakariya (Zechariah), Yahya (John the Baptist), Isa (Jesus), and Muhammad.
